Carolyn Raiman, LAc.

Carolyn is a nationally board certified acupuncturist who has been working with fertility patients for over 15 years.

Carolyn is a nationally board certified acupuncturist who has been working with fertility patients for over 15 years. She never intended to focus on fertility but started working at IVIRMA in 2009 performing laser acupuncture for embryo transfer patients and has never stopped. Working with world-renowned Reproductive Endocrinologists and their patients has given Carolyn access to the most up-to-date scientific research and insight. She combines this with different mental and physical practices from acupuncture to nutrition, stress management and mindfulness. She has worked with thousands of patients to help them with their fertility and to support them through the ups and downs of trying to start a family.

What is your new patient procedure?
All new patients are first scheduled for a consultation to go over your treatment goals and individualized treatment programs. We will decide if Acupuncture is the best treatment option for you at that time, and you’ll be given a treatment plan.
How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments will vary based on your specific condition and how long you have had it. Our goal is for you to be able to maintain long-term health and wellness. That being said, it is common to work together for an average of 3-6 months. Your initial consultation is when we’ll be able to give you a recommendation for the length of treatment needed.
Are your services covered by my insurance?
Our office is out-of-network for all insurers so we don’t take insurance. However, we can provide you with an invoice if you have out-of-network benefits or would like to submit to your FSA or HSA accounts for reimbursement
How much will my treatment cost?
The cost of an initial consultation is $175 and follow-ups are $100.
